Are We Preparing Them?
Are
We Preparing Them?
The single greatest action of creation a man
and woman may make is the start of a new life.
It is not the car. It is not the
college. It is not the home they will
furnish with gotten stuff. We have been
given the great responsibility under God to create something that will last
forever under His will. So, do we equip
the saints for the work of this ministry?
Sixteen
years or so is the prep time in America.
Girls, a little less time depending on their cycle.
We bombard
these youngsters with vile sexual images on T.V. and lace their commercials
with hedonistic undertones to draw on their already rearing passions that lay
under the quell of parents held in anxieties sway.
Is this
stupidity? Why do we condemn their
decisions made in the back of a car seat?
America runs on inordinate sex and violence according to the
entertainments swallowed from the black screen. We pass it by. It is too much. We pull the scab and want the scar. At least that part of us won’t feel.
Is holiness
so wrong? Are we so far gone? Do we laugh at purity and make jokes of a
youth not given to misdeeds but keeps their virgin alive and with health? Where will His seeing eye find the faithful?
I thought
He said if we lust with our eye, we sin in our hearts. Has lust had its full run of America as in
Sodom? The logical end would be
abomination and a killing of little ones still in the womb.
Life
matters little when it can be expended upon the curb. Concrete doesn’t care as fetal blood is
smeared across it. Greater sacrifice is
made by hands willing to move in ignorance of a God’s wrath. Who can know it?
Are we
preparing our children to beset the greatest gift given? As master painters, do they approach the
canvas with confidence and a usual familiarity of hues given to stroke the
board to life? I praise the ones who
have invested such. We need the parents
to train them. Our civilization hangs
off the cliff of despondency waiting to be reeled in by those who know
better. And there is a better.
There are
plenty of shoulds in God’s world. He has
mandated the rules necessary to keep us safe, but we as rats escape to the corn
and feed on refuse to undernourish our blatant souls. We love the blood. Lick it!
Like it! Dwell in it as we slop
the rest to the hogs of carnivore.
Placenta we shall eat for we have scratched it on the menu.
Am I
surprised? No. This is the world. It has been churning since Adam. A twist then bend while the junction gets hot
by the friction we’ve created. Marriage
cannot survive with needles of infidelity poking about its anus. We attract the like venom while we wonder who
spilled the seed. God will not be
mocked. We will reap a fourfold.
A call to
worship. Who can call on the Lord with a
leprous tongue? Will He really pardon
our repeated iniquities at the door while we drag our discharge before
Him? Our sanctification is where we
agree in His holiness. “Come out from
her my children unless you are caught up in her destruction.” I thought the Great Whore was to be
annihilated. Then why do we follow her
ways?
A call to
awakening. He desires a pure
Church. Will we train our children to
love His vision?
