Far East
Far East
Hindustan or Hindoostan. The populous region of India. Many folks there are given to polytheism. My question:
How did they get that way?
After the flood, Noah’s sons spread
out. They wandered from the east till they
hit the billiard break of the Babel Tower.
Shem and Ham kinda hung around the Middle East while Japeth headed for
the hills. He was the father of the gentile
nations dispersed to the coastal areas.
Am I a historian? No, I just read
an old encyclopedia.
According to that book, an Aryan race
descended upon the aboriginal peoples of Hindoostan. Where the original folks came from, don’t
know. Got my theory but it is not found
in the Bible. Noah had Shem, Ham, and Japeth. Did he have sons after these? Six hundred-years-old after the flood, he
could have sired more boys. That would
explain Hindoostan and the orient of China.
But alas the speculation that doesn’t pay the bills.
The Aryan race could have come from Japheth
sprouting from the Caucasian root.
Japheth’s children probably strayed from the pure religion of God
revealed as they shot gunned into Europe and lower middle Asia. It’s neat to trace them all the way
back. Extrabiblical evidence supports
the Genesis account of the flood, the tower of Babel, and by linguistical research,
the evolution of languages from a common Indo-European tongue. This is serious and it gets exciting!
Now, the six-o’clock news may not carry
the story. The education we feed our
public school students may not hint at God.
Origins may point to exploded artifacts assembled to construct a blazing
theory funded by tax-payers dollars. Not
that it is all a lie. Mom and Dad just
need to debrief their little one when Johnny comes home with a looming question
mark above his head. “Yes, son. According to the textbook, your life is
meaningless. Do your best to fill
yourself with stuff as you follow the pseudo-American way. Progress means gluttony sucking off the teat
of materialism.”
Johnny needs his shots before entering the
public school doors. Biblical shots of inoculation
girded by His truths help Johnny understand who is before God. That keeps a child well.
That clears confusion when the
teacher whips out the monkey to man pictures.
So, who were the Hindoostan aborigines? Don’t know for sure. Do they challenge my hold on scripture? Sure.
Do added truths in which the Bible is silent, whisper doubt to me? Yes, but I’ve been around this block before. God,
when I wait on Him, faithfully explains Himself if I don’t hit the panic
button.
Thanks Lord. You seek to educate us in Your time. You said the just shall live by faith. Faith is the time waited for revelation. We do not walk by sight. Hindoostan wasn’t built in a day.
