I Am The One

I Am The One

John 4:25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

We need no real proof.  We have received His testimony inside us.  His presence in us and around us assures us that He was and is whom He has declared Himself to be.  So we stop searching.  We have found the gold.  No use in overturning another rock.

For Israel, their eyes are still veiled.  Being lost in Moses, they look back to their history to affirm the mighty acts of God they say are on the horizon.  A mighty Warrior will come someday to rescue them from torture.  Hence, they play the victim card.

Joshua 5:9 And the Lord said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day.

In other words, Israel did not have to think of themselves of powerless slaves any longer.  Later, in denying their conqueror found in Jesus, slavery they welcomed again.  Abraham was dedicated to God.  His warring spirit was felt throughout Caanan. Why they have the present Jews hunkered down asking Man’s world to carve out a slice of promised land pie for them?

When they refuse to acknowledge Jesus as God, they refuse to enter His kingdom which has come.   We as Christians, take up the power as we fight against the flesh, world, and devil.  They turn over and play dead to these things.  Playing war in the physical does not justify their existence.  Their honor on the world’s stage is tarnished by ignorance.

Does God keep His promises to those who deny His Son?  Yes, it's all on God’s side.  He keeps His word.  Only God has guaranteed a future for them who deny.  They will certainly get their Messiah.  Shock waves will overtake them when they discover it is Jesus.  They will suffer the rapture of the Church and subsequent terror facing Satanic forces here.

I do not make the rules.  God will gladly accept those already in fellowship with Him.  For those who have already known Jesus as King.  It is no small thing to spit in the face of God.  Israel had four thousand years to get their understanding straight.  Somehow, they overflew the landing strip and kept on going.  Like the lights of prophecy did not burn bright enough for them.

We have a quandary here.  What is God to do with children who play bastard and seek a parent of their imagination?  God will not tolerate idols, yet He suffers them.  He says, “I am He.”  He is waiting as Father.  We Christians enjoy Him in this relationship already, but they have turned from affection.  How God must hurt.
