The Day We Shoot Miss Liberty In The Chest
The Day We Shoot Miss Liberty In The Chest
I saw her wave her torch. Like a blinker ushering everyone in. I saw some tablets in her arm. They turned to commandments then into a
scroll. The scroll unrolled down till it
neared the water. Then she used her
torch to set fire to the scroll. To her front a revolver faced her with an invisible
hand about the grip. She dropped what was
left of the scroll. Her torch she also
dropped. Both fell to the ocean as she
put her hands up.
“This is a stick up!”
Miss Liberty stands for all men, women,
and children in America. If held
hostage, will she sell out? In other
words, what threatens to take captive, will it encumber us once freed from sin?
I wonder. Will America enslave itself again?
Genesis 6:5
