And Shall We Regurgitate This?
And
Shall We Regurgitate This?
1 Corinthians 6 April
12, 2024
Yes, Manna from Heaven. We all know Who that is. “Take, eat, this is My body.” We all know who said that and when. But what goes in the mouth does not defile a
man (or woman). It is what comes out.
If our bodies are indeed temples, then
what sounds are coming out of the upper room?
Great orifices, so wide and open, mouth the great words of God. But, who is cleaning the temple? Surely a building as such needs
maintenance. A bit of repentance there
to get the dust bunnies in the corner. A
certain quiet time before Him to listen to clean the shadowed windows. The showbread is always to be present and the
lamp is to never go out, why? Because
the King of Kings resides inside us.
Shall we regurgitate this again? His word He has made active within us. We know the truth. Jesus inside.
Jesus abides. He will never
leave. He suffers.
“Bob, pass me the Dew.” “Got a fifth of Jack. Wanna have fun?” “Just a little crank before the kids come
home from school.” “It’s ok Honey, your
husband won’t be home for another hour.
We’ve got plenty of snuggle time.”
Ever think Jesus really feels? I would wager that He feels everything you
feel.
He
lives inside you.
He is forever joined to your spirit. That is the bond He has committed Himself to.
So, whatever perversity we put ourselves
through and think, “God will forgive me,” He already goes through it with
you. There are many fornications around
as we bow down to those idols we place before Him. Easy sex in the defiled temple is not His
thing. He is no temple prostitute and
forbids such. Rapidly He calls us to
cleanse our temples. Away with the
moneychangers, those things we count as surety before running to Him.
He feels what we feel, literally.
