Love Conquers All?
Love
Conquers All?
1 Corinthians 13
Shamanism is no small thing. It is an underlying plague that snakes through
our society. Convinced the spirit world
can indeed influence, its patrons so delve into the darkness on purpose or by
accident. Like mistakenly finding a new
power, its subjects fall into a discipleship type of relationship. With continued confluence, a body merges with
another power. So enticed are these
spirits by the offer of seduction, they cannot help but become involved. See, it is their job as a rebellion of
misfit wanderers.
When one slips to the natural lack of
discernment in given spiritual matters, he or she runs the risk of demonic
control. “Throwing a fit? I just lost my head? I don’t know what come over me.” Ever heard these words? These are evidences of the unseen.
Sure, there is the flesh. But the flesh can be amplified or the volume
turned up. Whatever works in a power
struggle is game for a person so given to these rages. Man to wife?
Wife to man? The dynamics of the
home spin uncontrollably. What is meant
to be in order as understood authority is crippled by these exterior involvements. It is hard enough solidifying a marriage in
this fallen world without demonic conundrums. The question, “Who is really in
charge here?” If the man says, “I am.” He has failed. If the wife says she is, witchcraft if at her
door. So breeds chaos when Christ is not
recognized as the head.
How can these contortions be straightened
out? Love. Love endures.
Love takes the punches. Love
sticks it out and offers no offence back in return. Love surely is greater than any witchcraft
spell. God comes as a Violent
Overthrower of power when His little ones call on Him.
Are you stuck in a powerless
relationship? Are you at the mercy of
another? Do shamans run about you with potions
of deliverance? There is one
deliverer. His name is God.
