The Sexual Identity Of God

     God is spirit.  He has no form.  When He made Man in His image, He made both of them male and female.  It is God who has created masculinity and femininity so found in our corresponding spirits.  Through wonder, He works the spectrum to give us distinguishable persons.

     To say the God the Father is bound by masculinity is to say His creation stops His expression.  I know Him in my mind as a father figure.  With authority, He is to be known as He has given us the picture of the family with man as the head.  However, His spirit comes to me as a mother.  She is the strength of creation, following the command of God the head with the spoken Word.  The Word certainly is Jesus.  He volunteered to inhabit a body characterized as a male.

     God still remains a mystery.  If calling the Spirit a she offends, it is not an arguing point with me.  I just use the family picture to keep it all straight in my head.

She Doesn’t Tell You That You Are Loser Grace:  The incredible pink cushion between your screwed up decisions and the ramifications wrought by them. Mercy:  withholds the rod.  Grace says, “Now what?  Given you’ve gotten yourself into a marijuana muddied bowl of slime, would you like a hand up?”  She gets her hands dirty. “That’s ok, its just something I have to work through.”  And she does.  Her incredible prayer power burns a hole through overhanging clouds of gloom.
