When I Became King
When I Became A King
Awaiting knee surgery since April, my self-sufficiency
has waned. What was normal action became
increasingly strained as movement induced pain.
What I fell into was the glove of God.
Kings are served. Their wants are forecasted. Their needs are met in abundance. In my weakness, no one challenged my
throne. In contrast, others reaffirmed
my rightful place by encouraging me. I
continued to fulfill my duty. I have not
suffered loss.
The queen procures. Princesses wait upon. They dance in the courtyard in
entertainment. Fellow kings stop by for
conversation. I am surrounded by
nobility as all have expressed care.
Real alliances have been realized. Grouping into council, mutual support has
been expressed being four heads represented.
This Kingdom is real. I have seen Him rule. As we mutually submit ourselves one to
another, His Spirit binds us in peace.
There is one God, one hope, one baptism.
We walk as children adopted.
Youth.
Yet He calls us as kings, queens, and the rest of the court. We take up our duty to administer authority.
In this vulnerable time, my position has
not been challenged. Being the chief
influencer for those immediately around, I still don my robe and make
decisions. Reverence is maintained. Respect given means blessings about.
Thank you for allowing me to walk out my
calling. Without subjects, no king is
upheld. A faithful knee I have seen
bow. This honoring keeps temptation from
me. I have not had to fight to be
heard. In quietness my household is governed. Thank you for this opportunity. Jesus is manifested in our willingness to
serve each other.
